As I’ve gotten older, the only birthdays that seem to be the most important ones are the ones ending in 5 and in 0 and everything else is, "I’m still here." I may say that but even I know that’s not true. The person I am today and the person I was even 10 months ago aren’t even the same person. Lord knows even the company I’m building has changed and evolved and that’s a good thing. 

What will I say to people who come to me one day and say, “you’ve changed” once I’m making not just more money but SIGNIFICANT money? Simple. “I hope that I’ve grown alongside my business.”

I did a money exercise recently and looked at one of the old beliefs that money changes people. I looked at that belief and said “Yes, I hope I DO change.” Why?  

It will be even more proof of how I’ve grown and evolved over the years versus staying stagnant. Being able to give more without guilt or worry that if I were to give, would that put me over the edge? I’d be a living river, money comes in and money goes out and yet the river never runs dry because it’s always replenished by more water.

I don’t know about you but in my mind, that’s a pretty good way to live and to be able to share my blessings with others and inspire them to do the same, if they so choose. Life is better when you are able to share your blessings anyways. 

How about you? How have you changed over the years? As for me, my beliefs do change from time to time however the fundamental things stay the same and that puts a feather in my cap.
