Have you ever met an angel? No, I don’t mean spiritual beings who fly around with wings. Better yet, are you an angel? I don’t mean you fly around singing choruses either. I’m asking if people would say you’re an angel and not because you’re someone who only does good.

Maybe you’re someone who makes someone’s load a little lighter. How? Maybe you help wherever needed, maybe you helped someone at the grocery store get something off the top shelf, maybe you gave a kind word to someone as you passed by. A compliment, encouragement or maybe even a smile. 

You don't wait for the skies to open up and the angels to sing because you might miss the person in front of you who needed it today. The hard part about being an angel is that you may never get to know the impact your word or action had on someone. Why do it then? Because you can. Simple. 

So maybe treat yourself to some cake today in celebration of your angel self.
